If I ended up winning the lottery, my first instinct would be to find out how much might be taken from taxes. I also believe it is crucial to plan how best to invest some of my money for my future in case of emergencies. I would learn to invest in stocks and real estate; creating homes for people to rent. I understand this would take a lot of work to maintain; yet, I find that this investment should help me to continue earning money so I have something to fall back on throughout my life.

Next, I would pay off any debts. If I didn’t have a house yet, I would buy a small two-story home just big enough for myself, my partner, and any kids we plan to have in the future. I would love to create a cozy home with a small porch and a basement in a small safe neighborhood. The house would only have a few bedrooms and an office as well. The basement will be turned into a play area for the kids so if there’s ever a baby in the house we can banish the older kids to the basement to play while it sleeps. My masterpiece would be the kitchen. A spacious room where visitors can gather while sweet aromas fill the room. Dinner and desserts made with sturdy equipment for healthier living. Well, a little healthier, I could never give up my sweets.

With a large sum of money, I would be able to spend more of my time writing and creating content. I dream of a life being able to work on my creations and spend time with my family. Some of the money would go towards my children’s future. Over the summers I would love to travel to help culture my family and gain more experiences to write about and post.

Lastly, when the opportunity arises, I would donate some of my money to charities. My favorite is Heifer International, which sends animals to third-world countries to help families in need get not only food but products to sell. For example, bees for honey, chicken for eggs, and cows for milk! Any other organization I would have to do more research on to ensure the money is going to the right place and just how much they really help those in need. My particular interests in charities include helping the homeless, the LGBT community, and those with cancer.
