I am very excited for my writing career to take off one day. I cannot wait to actually make enough money to support myself so I can work from home! Then I can take care of the house some, cook dinner, and be there for the kids! I’m most excited about the feedback for my creative works! Other people enjoying my content makes my day and I can’t wait for more people to find and enjoy what I have to offer! However, recently my girlfriend and I have made some plan with my brother about our future that I’ve very excited about!
Over the most recent Thanksgiving, my brother and I were talking about the future and he mentioned how he’d like to create a sort of homestead with the family! My girlfriend would absolutely love that sort of environment! She wants to have a garden and chickens and our kids can grow up near their cousins, aunts, and uncles. My sister wants to raise ducks and my brother wants bees and a garden. He also thinks our mother will enjoy living on our little homestead once her and dad retire. Mom would love to have goats and chickens. and a small garden. I’m not super big on the outdoors and such, but I don’t mind taking care of the inside of the house and cooking the fresh vegetables!
I’m mostly excited to actually have a house to decorate and use! We want to have an office where we can write and do art and the kids can do homework! We’d also love to have a library either in the office or in a separate room. Downstairs we want to have a soundproofed room where we can record stuff and play instruments or whatever. I can’t wait for a more spacious kitchen to hold all of our appliances and gadgets and an actual pantry for all of our food! We’d also like an extra freezer to keep our overflow and maybe another fridge just in case. We can also work with the others to actually compost food scraps or feed them to the chickens so we have less food waste!
I’m excited to create a forever home with my girlfriend and create a family community. There’s no telling what the future holds, but I cannot wait to see where life takes me.
